I just don't have it in me

Today is one of those days... I woke up congested, with a sore throat and my nose bled on top of that! When the weather gets too dry (like in my bedroom,) my nose bleeds. It totally sucks!
Anyway, today I'm supposed to clean the house, and I really don't feel like doing it! It's one of the days when all you want to do is lay on the couch and watch TV. I really need to clean and cook dinner, but whether or not that will be happening is still a big mystery. I hope Anthony doesn't mind taking care of dinner tonight, and if I don't clean today, I will definitely take care of it tomorrow.
So you might be wondering who are the two little guys on the picture above. Here is the story... We went down to Ocean City, MD a few weeks ago for vacation with Anthony's family. While down there, we stayed at the Sea Watch condos, and downstairs there is this little shop called "My Place." They sell ice cream, snacks, pizza, sandwiches, etc. Anthony's been going down to O.C. for as long as he can remember. While we waited for our condo to be ready, he went to My Place to see if they still had a picture of him hanging up on the wall (they hang random guests' photos all over their walls, they've been doing this since the mid-eighties). And guess what? He found his picture from back in 1994! Anthony is the one to the left, he was 8 years old, and the little man to the right is his old buddy Edward. How cool is that?!
That same evening, I tried their vanilla ice cream float and fell in love! I'm not much of an ice cream person to begin with, especially not vanilla, but their French vanilla was out of this world. I had their float every single day we were down there...
Back home, I started to crave their vanilla ice cream like there was no tomorrow. I decided to look for something similar at the supermarket and found Edy's Double Vanilla. It's nothing like My Place's French vanilla, but it comes close... I'm very excited I can have my own floats now and I won't go crazy being so far from My Place.
XOXO,
Marge
